This is a subject that is very destructive and I am so guilty of it. Unwholesome talk ...gossiping...whatever you want to call it is so destructive and unattractive. I just want to ask forgiveness to anyone I have gossiped to or about. Please forgive me! I am memorizing this verse to keep it in the forefront of my mind and in my heart forever.....I pray that it will help!
"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouth, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." Ephesians 4:29 (NIV)

Nice blog post!! Unfortunately, I think we are all guilty of this. That is a great verse to use as a reminder though :)
I was just guilty this past weekend. I was talking about the coach on my neice's basketball team. I feel bad about it now. I'm really trying to work on my tongue! I will definitely need to memorize this verse. Thanks for the reminder!
